in Balik Pulau Stadium~!

We had many many gina kia came from different center such as

Island Park, Bukit Minyak, Bukit Jambul, Leaderland, Farlim and etc~!

Pathetically, I need to wake up at 5 in the morning and prepared all the stuff for the students.

I was leading a team while my colleague, ah Cheah was leading another team.

My colleague ah Tan and the kolian kakak -

Shaoran who was forced to wear the Minnie Mouse Costumes.

我：一些植物呢都有坚硬的果皮，比如说椰子，你想想看你用牙齿去咬椰子，牙齿掉还是椰子皮开啊？
学生们：（故意唱反调）椰子皮开~~~
我 : 好！很好！既然这样明天老师买给你们一人一粒椰子，谁咬不开的“棒卡”全部拿来。现在我再问一次~是牙齿掉还是椰子开啊？
学生们：（垂头丧气）牙齿掉~
我：乖~

PS: 对付喜欢跟你唱反调的学生，只能智取了~呵呵

我：好，那你们一人拿一张你们的棒卡出来，老师烧给你们看。
突然，全班静去,只见那被没收棒卡的学生在那狂点头，赞成我的做法。

STPM 成绩出炉啦！

这次由于时间问题，所以没用英文发表了，呵呵~！
前几天STPM成绩出炉了，问我紧张吗？
其实还好啦~！
Pass就继续读书，Fail就继续做工，我懒得想那么多了。
本来说想要请假去拿成绩的，可是想了想还是没什么必要，
一来学校人多，我怕被挤死。
二来我做工的地方举行新年Party,有好多好吃的食物，
再三斟酌下，当然选择上班去了，呵呵~！
还好我又去，还蛮好玩的。^^

9点多才会到家，一进门姐姐就告诉我我的成绩了，省了上网查看的时间。
还不错，就是爬不上2.7，差了那0.04分的。=.=
算了贝~

不过有点失望的是化学得不到A，开心的是数学和物理都pass了，呵呵~
天公疼憨人啊~~
接下来要烦的只是选科罢了~
希望能拿到penang的学校啦~
仔细详情下次再谈...

New Computer

Hehe, my first blog with my new computer. That's right, a NEW computer. Got it just before the holiday, cool and yet high graphic. High enough to support all the game I like currently. Too bad, I can play some of the game only as most of the games DVD very expensive. Still, I can played Maple Story, Sudden Attack and dota with my friends. Kekek. Well, now I just hope that my friend would lend me Sim 3, the game that I drooling for decade. xD

Here is the Window 7 dekstop I'm using now. Cool yea? The background can change itself from time to time. I can view the program I running on also with mouse over only without pressing on it. Keke, good for lazy ass like me. xD

Another game I like in this new computer is the Chess Titan game that available in Vista and Window 7, I just love the crystal design and the graphic.

I have a lot of fun with this computer, but I still miss the old 1. As all of my stuff are inside the computer now. And for the sake of this new computer, I decided to give up all. >.< ~~Painful decision.~~

Well, this comp does cost a lot. But I LOVE IT. Will post up the spec as soon as I can. <3 this computer so much.

Money in, Money out

    I just get my first paid as a tuition teacher few day ago. Though the paid was a little lower than what I expected, but it still satisfy me. I should be grateful for the employee benefits that provided by the tuition teacher-free transport and free lunch which save me a lot of money. The foods are delicious and my colleagues are very nice also ~~though they always make fun of me.~~

   Anyway, I spent 85% of my salary within 4 hour. Don't misunderstanding, I'm not a shopaholic. I just gave my money to my sister to buy a new dekstop.Kekeke. Can't tell you all what the specification of the desktop now cause my sister hasn't decide yet ~~and I still don't understand what she talking about.~~ However, as long as the new computer can support MapleStory, Left 4 Dead, Infamous, Prototype and etc, I will paid for it!

    Still, I need to control myself not to spend too much in this month as I running out of money now. In addition, I need to save money for the coming PC fair cause I want to buy a Toshiba laptop. Gosh, I'm going to use up all my money before the Uni course started. =.="

    I sincerely hope that the time flies like an arrow as I can't wait any longer to have my own laptop.

I know I'm a bit too late to update this now, but I couldn't help myself after I saw these picture from Jaslyn's blog.

Guess what, its meteor! ~~I guess.~~ Credit for Jaslyn for capturing this picture.

Well, on 2009 December 14, my friends and I went to Balik Pulau for Gemini Meteor Rain viewing.

We went to Uncle Lim house on 9pm and brought some food and snack along. When we reached, we found out that the best place had been ~~steal~~ owned by another group of people. Nevermind, we could get ourselves another comfy places. Uncle Lim gave us some cardboard as usual and all of us lay down chatting while waiting for the show to begin.

The sky was clear without clouds at around 10pm, we started to see some meteor flashed through the sky, one after another. All of us wowed by the beautiful scene. ( Believes me, you wouldn't have time to make a wish. )

Jaslyn try to set up her camera on Uncle Lim's tripod, she tried so hard to capture the trailed of the stars and keep shouting when she failed to do so. xP Those meteor was way too fast...

Anyway, we had a fun time there even we couldn't stay long for the real shower.

I do hope that I will be there again for the 2010 Gemini Meteor shower...=]

Mad yet funny

I scolded those standard 4 students this morning as most of them didn't study my spelling. Can't imagine how I could control my temper and didn't threw the exercise book on their face.I just looked at them and ask them to take back those book in a stern face. I notice that some of them were freaking scared what I will do to them. Well, I wouldn't beat them ~~even I hope I could~~...

All of them were very quiet during my lesson, not even dare to walk around and making fun with me as I'm really mad at them. What so funny about is that the student whose copy things as slow as a snail finish her copying within 5 minutes after me. In the mean time, another students whose enjoying showing his "Edwardian Script" style writing finish his copying with the neatest writing I ever seen also. ~~I guess I should scold them more often...xP~~

After the lesson, those students also offering themselves to help me clean the white board and keep all the things. I try not to laugh out loud as I saw them trying so hard not to piss me off again, and they wouldn't dare to complain anymore when I deducing their marks.

Actually, I kinda pity on them as I know that they have a lot of homework to do and also a lot of spelling to memorize, but I couldn't do anything. This is my job to teach them all the things I knew ~~and forces them to do what they didn't like.~~

I need to make sure every of them finish their homework and also make sure they understand all the thing we taught. Its kinda exhausting as you need to handle two to five students in the same time and make sure everyone of them did a great job.

In the other hand, we need to teach them to behave themselves, to be polite towards other and also to be honest. Teaching a "gina kia" is a tough job as you need to know what they poor in and what is their weakness ~~so that we can use it to threaten them~~.

I do hope all my students can get flying colour during March exam ~~so that their parents wouldn't scold me after they get their result.~~

Hooi Sien aka Carrot called me suddenly and urge me to open my stupid computer...
Fine...I will opened it..she sounds very nervous...

After I open the comp, I found out that chao carrot just wan me to give her answer for the room escape game...wth..=.=

So I sacrifice 1 hour of my sleeping time to help her solved the game...
After that, she said that she want to treat me dinner tomorrow, during my tuition's break.

But i refused, as I'm not that type of person who will claimed reward for a little favor.( I'm too nice isn't it...)

发现在还没放假前的自己蛮变态的，
天天都啃书，啃着啃着就睡着了。
惊奇的是还能在睡梦中继续啃，

一天睡都不到6 小时的，

Tad, a 15 year old boy was taken in by his aunty and treated as servant. He always get blames for his mother dead and always get bullied by Mr Jackson and Esther, the other servant.

"Fifteen years old, and not an ounce more sense than the day he was born. As if he didn't do enough damage that day."

He finds a way to escape from this miserable life when Michael Keenan offers him a job of looking after his elephant, Khush when he was found in the elephant trailer.

And then the elephant moved. His trunk shot forward, snatched Michael Keenan's tall hat off his head and lifted it high in the air. Then with a flourish, it dropped the hat neatly on to Tad's head.

Tad moves from town to town with Michael Keenan together with two of his daughter to perform a trick. And he slowly fell in love with that giant creature, Khush.

When Michael Keenan and Cissie's sister die in the train crash. Mr Jackson and Ester come to claim Khush with a forged resit. Cissie insist Tad to travel along with her and seek help from her best friends, Ketty. Along their journey, they have to find the way to hide Khush and also hide from Mr Jackson.

After I read...

I feel that Khush have the same personality as Tad, there're afraid to be dump and they will follow the order given only. Another thing is that Cissie in this story is kinda irritating as she is a very stubborn girl and short-tempered person which made me feel very unpleasant when I read that book. Anyway, this book is kinda interesting also. Hope you will enjoy it somehow.

Seriously, I get myself into a very weird situation...
I still remembered that, Yucca used to ask me :" Do you ever feel regret when you choose to study Physics?"
No, I DIDN'T!

I never feel regret, I didn't made a mistakes YET, I haven't choose a wrong way either.
There is no right path for me since I step into academic school.

人生的抉擇

【明慧學校】周國平先生講過這樣一個故事。

一個農民從洪水中救起了他的妻子，他的孩子卻被淹死了。事後，人們議論紛紛。有人說他做得對，因爲孩子可以再生一個，妻子卻不能死而復活。有人說他做錯了，因爲妻子可以另娶一個，孩子卻沒法兒死而復活。

哲學家聽說了這個故事，也感到疑惑難決，他就去問農民。農民告訴他，他救人時什麽也沒去想。洪水襲來，妻子在他身邊，他抓起妻子就往山坡游。待返回時，孩子已被洪水沖走了。

讀到這個故事時，我被這個農民打動了很久，我從內心深處佩服這個農民。

這個農民如果進行一番抉擇的話，事情的結果會是怎樣呢？

洪水襲來了，妻子和孩子被捲進漩渦，片刻之間就要沒了性命。而這個農民還在山坡上進行抉擇，救妻子重要呢，還是救孩子重要？

我想，也許等不到農民繼續往下想救妻子還是救孩子的利弊，洪水就把他的妻兒都沖走了。

在生活當中，有許多時候，我們並沒有機會和時間進行抉擇。

有人總喜歡在做一件事情之前再三權衡利弊，猶猶豫豫，舉棋不定。結果，待到想好了去做的時候，早已時過境遷，機會已經沒有了。

把手頭的機會抓住，這是至關重要的。最靠近你的機會，就是最重要的和最迫切的。把手頭的機會抓住了，就等於把一切機會都抓住了。因爲，過去的機會已不復存在，而未來的機會總是要一步一步才逼近你身邊的。沒有到來之前，你縱然絞盡腦汁，也是徒勞枉然。

人生的抉擇是最困難的，也是最簡單的。困難在於你總是把抉擇當作抉擇。簡單在於你別去考慮抉擇問題，只是動手去做。

人生的抉擇，一直困擾著無數的文化人。可笑的是，這個沒文化的農民，可以做我們這些文化人的導師。

I was trying to put all the physic, math T and chemistry equation inside my head. This is a very strange feeling anyway. I keep wondering, our brain is just the size of football, how can we put all those alphabets and numbers inside?

Yet, part of our brain is needed in controlling the activities of body movement and also responses to the stimulus. That mean, part of it is act as the control room and there is just half of the spaces left for memories. But but BUT~!!! Researches shows that some part of our brain is not fully used! That mean we will cut the storage spaces into half again.

Ok, what we left here for memorizing is just around 1/3 of the football size. And we need to squeezzzzzeeeeee all the word in the books inside! Just made a simple calculation, imagine a A4 paper with font size of 10...

Our A4 paper is
0.3m X 0.2m = 0.06m^2

For 500 Pages that means is
500 x 0.06m^2 = 30m^2

Each font will cover
1 x 10^-6m^2 of A4 paper,

That mean
30m^2 / 1 x 10^-6m = 30 000 000 font in one book.

Each word contains around 7 font, that mean
30 000 000 / 7 = 4.3 x 10^6 words

We need to study minimum 20 book a year ( include reference and story book, magazine, newspaper etc... )
4.3 x 10^6 x 20 = 8.6 x 10^7 words

lets calculate the area covered of all those words
8.6 x 10^7 x 1 x 10^-6 = 85m^2
That equal to 25floor building...

Lets divide it into 6 so that we can made it become a cube.
85m^2 /6 = 14m^2

lets say the side is around 3.5meter.
14m^2 x 3.5m = 49m^3
That mean it is equal to twice of my bedroom!
WTH!
And I have study for 14 year!!!
Thats mean 28 times of my bedroom...nice..
And our spaces for memorizing is just 1/3 of THE SIZE OF FOOTBALL!!!

一个成熟的人应该掌握自己快乐的钥匙，他不期待别人使他快乐，反而能将快乐与幸福带给别人。每个人心中都有一把「快乐的钥匙」，但我们却常在不知不觉中把它交给别人掌管！

　　　　一位女士抱怨道：「我活得很不快乐，因为先生常出差不在家。」她把快乐的钥匙放在先生手里。一位妈妈说：「我的孩子不听话，叫我很生气！」她把快乐的钥匙交在孩子手中。男人可能说：「上司不赏识我，所以我情绪低落。」这把钥匙又被塞在老板手里。婆婆说：「我的媳妇不孝顺，我真命苦！」年轻人从文具店走出来说：「老板服务态度恶劣，真把我气炸了！」

　　　　这些人都做了相同的决定─就是让别人来控制他的心情！

　　　　当我们容许别人掌控我们的情绪时，我们便觉得自己是个受害者，对现况无能为力，抱怨与愤怒成为我们唯一的选择。我们开始怪罪他人,并且传达一个讯息：「我这样痛苦，都是你造成的，你要为我的痛苦负责！」此时我们就把这一项重大的责任，托付给周围的人──即要求他们使我快乐。我们似乎承认自己无法掌控自己，只能可怜地任人摆布。这样的人使别人不喜欢接近，甚至望而生畏。

　　　　一个成熟的人能够掌握住自己快乐的钥匙，他不必期待别人使他快乐，反而能将快乐与幸福带给别人。他情绪稳定，能为自己负责，和他在一起是种享受，而不是压力。

　　　　修行人教我们要：作自己的主人，不要被环境、物欲左右；圣经教我们要「常常喜乐，凡事包容，凡事感恩。」你的钥匙在哪里？在别人手中吗？快去把它拿回来吧！

认识到阿桑
是因为听了叶子这一首歌，
沧桑的歌声触动了我的心房，
以前，几乎天天都会哼着，
渐渐的已经遗忘，

叶子　是不会飞翔的翅膀

叶子，

Sudoku Life

Gosh......wrong again......
Screwed......

This has been the routine before I went to bed.
It started 2 year ago, my first try in this 9x9 box games and I get indulged immediately - the Sudoku.

Sudoku, a puzzle which became a malady to everyone all over the world was created in the late 19th century. Well, I'm not going to tell you all the history of Sudoku because it's kind of boring and lonnnngggggggg story.

What I love about Sudoku is it is a logic-based game.The rule of this game is to fill the 9×9 grid as such that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 boxes contains the digits from 1 to 9 only. All the numbers have their own position in leading others numbers for their own places.

Sudoku is like our lives. Each number initially given is just like our mentors that lighten our way.They know their position well in our world and they guide us to find ours when we are in dilemma or confusion. After we have found ours positions, we will start playing the roles as mentor to the people around us.
Be guided and to guide, this is what we do in our life.

Row by row, column by column and box by box, each number appears only one time and is never been repeated.

Each number represents each mortal in this world. Although we might be the same kind, we will never share the same story in life. In fact, God gives us the ability to create. Ironically, we abuses it by creating destructive weapons towards others and keep others away from entering our boxes - just like playing rule of Sudoku. We build wall and separate ourselves from others boxes. Defensively staying in our boxes and keeping watchful eyes on other boxes.

Sometimes, people might be at the upper platforms beyond others or will just stay at the bottom with others. However, it is a fact to know that we are in the same game and there is only a little gap between us.

Don't you feel tired guarding those utterly meaningless walls?
Rather than trying hard to prevent others from entering our lives, why don't we just grab a pencil and start filling the boxes next to us and ignore the boundaries?

Hi all...Welcome to Stefen's Nest

This is my second blog and I have just deleted my first blog few weeks ago.

Hit by a shoe and black out for few second......

Well...
There are THREE things I would like to clarify here...

Firstly,
I delete the old blog because I wanted to change the url and my email address.

Secondly,
I found out most of my post font colours were in light colour and I was fed up with the dark background.

Thirdly,
BECAUSE I WANTED TO!!! MUAHAHA

I don't blog much compared to last year because I'm busy currently and lazy.
Anyway, the reason I love blogging is
I love
- story-telling......
- to share the joy and sadness incidents in my life with my friends......
- to share everything that I know and everything that I found......
- to promote great things to my friends......
most of all I love the HTML coding...... hahaha......
And here, in my new blog , to share and to tell the story about myself...
